Projects: The King’s Equal

 

A. Story Map: This project is artistic. On a map draw the journey that Rosamund takes from her father’s house to the mountains to the palace. Illustrate key places on the map, such as her house, the mountain shack and the palace.

 

B. See What I Read: Raphael must stay away and bring the goats back in one year. Create a calendar that shows what Raphael might have been doing for four of those months (winter, spring, summer and fall).

 

C. Writing a Letter to the Author: Write a letter to Katherine Paterson. Tell her what you liked about the story and ask questions you have about the writing of the book. You may want to give her some suggestions for a sequel.

 

D. What else?: This report is the one of further choice. It gives you the opportunity to choose your own project. Present your idea to Mr. Guarnieri before beginning your work.
